Thank you, Sportsman's Committee and Bastrop Education Foundation, for a fabulous event raising money for our Bastrop schools. This event raises money for teachers to implement innovative programs at our schools. This is increases learning opportunities for our students. Also, a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends!

The Veterans in My Life!

I have the utmost respect for our Veterans. I had 2 uncles who took part in bombing Hitler’s fuel storage tanks. One was a B-17 pilot, and the other was a Gunner for a B-17. The pilot was shot down. The Gunner was awarded the Purple Heart. You never know what a Veteran has given for us to enjoy our freedoms.
